Well we are still working on getting our house. We had an inspector go through the house with us on Friday and there were no suprises for us. The main thing is that we will have to revamp the electrical systems throughout the house. I was a little dissapointed due to the fact that we wont be able to insulate the attic before redoing the wiring up there. Most of the house still has the old knob and tube systems from yesteryear.
In the meantime we are making occasional trips to Lowes to scout out our favorite kitchen cabinets and bathroom fixtures (even though doing that level of remodeling is going to be down the road a bit). I have started to read magazines about remodeling old houses and really starting to drool over some badly needed power tools. If only we had one of those money trees . . .
