Summer Update

Ok ok don't have a heart attack but I am writing another post. I have about 10 minutes before one of my kids start crying so I gotta be fast. A lot has been happening since Owen has been born. He is already 6 weeks and growing fast. He is a so cute but he is a cryer! Total opposite from Brooklyn, you can't put him down without having him cry. He is still waking up about 3 times in the night so we are really tired. He is holding his head up really well and can roll to both sides. Brooklyn loves her baby brother, sometimes a little too much. She loves to bring him toys and she always wants to hold him. They are so cute together!

Ryans parents came to visit from Utah to see the new baby and Brooklyn. Brooklyn had a lot of fun playing with Papa V and singing and reading books with Grandma. We went to the old west end festival and Owen was the youngest one there! We had the chance to go golfing with Ryans Dad which we haven't done in a year. I am proud to say that I finally won!! We also had Owen blessed while they were here. He looked so cute in his little white outfit. We wish Grandma and Papa V lived closer so we could see them more than once or twice a year.

My friend Candace's mom came to visit and she was kind enough to take pictures of our family. We went to the Botanical Gardens to get some cute pictures with the pretty flowers. Unfortunately we only got about 10 pictures when it started to downpour. It was my genius idea to have us all dressed in white so you can imagine how that turned out. So we have before and after pictures. Owen wouldn't cooperate though and was crying in most of them.

Brooklyn got to see her first movie in the movie theater. We went to see Toy Story 3 and it was really good. Brooklyn did very well except when she would get up to go sit by Damon or Drew and would get distracted by the movie. So she would stop and put her hands on the people in front of us to watch what was going on. Brooklyn is growing up so fast also. She is talking up a storm although sometimes we have no idea what she is saying. Her new favorite phrase is Brookie do it. She wants to do everything herself. She loves dancing and it is so fun to watch her. So that’s our lives up to this point, crazy but always interesting!
